Flypaper and loading speed

Is anyone else having a problem with Flypaper load time once course is published to scorm? It is taking up to 20 seconds to load some things. I contacted support because I noticed the below message appearing in the status bar.
"transferring data from comm.flypaper.net
It appeared once I went to the page that holds the interaction questions, and which lead me to wonder if the questions were housed outside of our domains.
I was told the following by Lectora support:
"According to flypaper support, The runtime will always try to contact services if it can at least once. It may contact services more than once depending on if Analytics is turned on, or if there are Components that use services. There is not currently a way to prevent this from happening."
This is not a good thing. If this cant be resolved or anyone doesnt have some other solution, we wont be able to use Flypaper in our courses which defeats the purpose of buying it. It doesnt matter whether we have large or small interactions.
I'd be curious to see what others think and have encountered and if there are any solutions that have been found.
