My only thought is to ensure that they actually have the necessary Flash players and codecs. Are they able to play flvs from other sites?

The problem was that I wasn't running the html through a server (at least that appears to have been the issue). When running through the file:// protocol the flvs appear as big black rectangles and do nothing.

When I ran them through a server (http:// protocol) everything magically started working again. You may have a similar issue.

My solution, because everything I do is SCORM, was to install Moodle on my development machine. I package for SCORM and upload it to my Moodle installation that has its own server. I am then able to view the course via Moodle through http. Its a convoluted process, but you could use any web server. I only use Moodle because I can test the SCORM functionality as well.

Thanks for responding

Even i placed my course in complincewire.. it is a client server.. the .flves are not working on server. on standalone computer if i run d course its working fine..

Do u know why?

There are a few of things that come to mind.

Firstly are you using exactly the same flvs that were previously working or are you using new flvs? FLV is just a container file and there are a number of codecs that could be used to create them. If you are using exactly the same flvs that you had working previously then its not a codec problem. If you are using new flvs then it could be, and you can test that by loading an old flv into your Vx.6 product and see if that runs. if it does then that would hint that its a codec problem and you should try re-encoding the new files in the same codec as the older files.

Another issue could be the settings in the html that are different from what you had before. The way to check that is to compare the html code of the previously working html and the current non-working html. If they are identical then that isn't the issue (probably).

Finally - and I don't have much experience here - it could be the choice of player controls. This is just a guess but you could try a different sets of control and see if you can get anything to work.
