Flash Security Settings -- FLV audio files

The Flash Player is as capable playing FLV as audio or video. I've used FLV with better results than MP3. FLV will also typically be smaller than an exported SWF. Don't ask me why:) FLV has a much better control API within Flash, you can do much more with it than a loaded MP3. For example, scrubbing the timeline in the player is much more reliable using FLV control than MP3.

It's a media transport format.

To the original question, we did have some strange issues with the Flash 10 player beta, but these issues appeared only in MP3's. We switched over to FLV for audio as well because of it.

This leads me to ask what version your users have installed. A disparity in player version is a likely culprit. Second to that I'd check the export settings on the FLV. Did Lectora export the audio or was it exported in another app?

This doesn't sound like a Flash security settings issue. Are the users accessing the course from an internet address or locally?
