Hello! :-) I'm having a problem with a .swf file I try to integrate in my lectora project. I'm lost of ideas now and I hope someone here will give me a hint what to do.
Here is what I have: We want to include a .swf file that works as the ToC and as the Navigation.
Therefor we have a .swf that does the following:
It reads the xml file "course_name.xml" and looks for the names of the assignable unit, the chapters, the sites etc. and generates the ToC and assembles the html links for the navigation, based on the xml. I include the .swf in Lectora and include a button that does a show action on the swf. Now this is what happens at the moment: When the user clicks on this button the swf shows, but it does not show the ToC. It has no content at all, besides its own background.
However, both of the desired functions word separately:
When I include a .swf in Lectora that has links to the site-urls, I can use it as a navigation inside the course.
When I open the .swf outside Lectora, it reads the xml correctly and shows the ToC.
Why does this not work when I include the .swf in Lectora and publish as html?
I think I can eliminate any problems with wrong file path since 1. it works correctly outside the published Lectora file and 2. I put the .xml file in all folders in the html export to see if it is a file path problem
Any Ideas?
Thanks and best regards, Nicole
