Fix Issue with Printing to Adobe

When I try to print my course to Adobe, my whole computer locks up. This happens with my coworkers as well. I brought this up at the 2010 conference and was told that they had never heard of this problem before. Yet if you search for "adobe" in forums you'll find that this has been an ongoing problem for many years.
The suggested fix of using a different product to produce the pdf file is not an option for many of us business users. Our computers are locked down and we can't install other software.
The suggestion of printing a range of pages instead of all pages, or changing various Adobe options also does not work.
Instead of finding work-arounds, why can't Trivantis fix this long-standing issue? It's not like we're dealing with some backwater 3rd party software, this is ADOBE! One of the most used formats in the world!
