Ooops, I didn't read your entire post...
You were asking about content on a CD and communication between Flash and Lectora...
not sure about how to get around this on a CDROM,,, Flash and Lectora are using Javascript to communicate. Once the Lectora part becomes an.exe there is neither Javascript nor a browser app to pass the data to and fro.
