External js/css in Lectora

Hi, I want to ask does external js/css files added in Lectora 16 affect the responsiveness of the courses? For example, I have added some external css for back to top button to be always on the bottom and for back/next arrows to be always on the middle of the page (because this course has long pages so the user should be able to go back to top of the page and back/next anytime), but it seems they are affecting the responsiveness, especially for mobile phones. Does this always happens and how to add those functions in Lectora without disturbing responsiveness? Thanks.

Properly written and added, CSS and JS should not affect the responsiveness of a course. That being said, you can create the same interaction within Lectora. The action is 'Go to' then select 'current page' in the 'scroll to' selector. You should have 'Top of Page' available. You should also be able to choose other objects you added to navigate to those on the same page as well.

Hope this helps.

Hi Darrel,

I've been looking at how to make this scroll timed and smooth instead of snapping to the location (as the above action does)

I have a page that requires is quite long and it's required that the user clicks proceed, and the page scrolls down smoothly to it's destination over 2 seconds.

Again, I'm a rookie, but I have attempted to complete this myself with no such luck. Attempting using this
