External HTML objects & CD Publishing.

I've always published courses to HTML, however I just tried to publish one to CD ROM and I received the following error: "External HTML objects cannot be published to CD"The course incorporates Captivate-generated Flash simulations, and some Java script to create some rollover effects (ie: roll mouse over each part of the screen to learn more). Any thoughts? Thanks.

HTML and javascript code can only be executed within a web browser. Lectora exe and CD publishes are stand alone applications that work very much like it does in run/preview mode. I suggest publishing to html and then burn the html files on to the CD.HTML and javascript code can only be executed within a web browser. Excellent suggestion -- thanks!Lisa

I had the same issue and used your solution. (Publishing to HTML and coping files to the CD) The problem I now have is the External Interface calls are now broken. Is there a solution for this issue?JREdited By: roachmoe on 2008-12-19 11:18:26
