I've had problems with closing windows before with Lectora. Typically though, when I run into problems like this it's usually something small and simple yet hard to detect. Like perhaps the action on the page that won't exit is accidently set to occur on an event other than a mouse click? Can you describe how the page "just hangs" a bit more? Does the browser or mouse actually freeze up, or do you just click and nothing happens?
