"Variables retained between sessions are stored in cookies by IE 4.0-6.0. There is a 4K limit on cookie size for IE and if you have lots of courses, you could exceed this over time. The 4K limit is a browser limitation, not Lectora. So, make your course title name short and the variable name short -- the longer names take up more of that precious 4K. If you are planning on say 5-10 courses and only need 1 variable, you will probably be OK. But if you could have many more than that, be careful. (Verrelli, please correct me here if I am wrong. This is what I have understood up till now.)You may be able to impose some restrictions by using some LMS features. Varies with the LMS.
