Exceeded Maximum Number of Supported Test.

Hi!Actually I have a Lectora test before a Lectora course. When the test is finished, the course starts automatically but when I get to the first exercise or quiestion of the course (which also contains some questions, every one of them as a single test) I get the Exceeded Maximum Number of Supported Tests Error Message from the Title Manager Applet....any ideas?

Pablo ...I still haven't received a zip file with your random test pool ... Where are you sending it? Tim

Tim,I have 4 different tests (Pre-tests), each located on its own folder (By the way, I had to make this because I never solved the issue of random questions...remember?), each folder's name is 1,2,3 and 4.Previously, I have an ASP which gets a random number (from 1 to 4) and depending of the resulting number, a redirection is made to the corresponding folder name and the test located on that folder is launched. Then after the test is completed, the results are submited to another ASP (let´s call it CGI) in another folder. This CGI saves the results in a database and makes another redirection to the main course (made also in Lectora) which is also located in its own and different folder. The course starts without problems, but when the first exercise's page is shown, the Exceeded Maximum Number of Supported Tests message is displayed with and OK button but this causes the browser to stop responding. Just for the records, this course contains some exercises, each exercise is a single test. This is strange, because previously to all these, I had a single pre-test (not 4 just 1) with the same proccesses mentioned before, this pre-test launched the very same course and I didn't have any problems, in fact, after the course was done, a final test was launched and finished as well, with no problems, but now, suddenly I'm starting to receive this applet problem.I'll appreciate any help because now I have two stucked problems, the random test and now this, I'm so tired of dealing with Lectora that I'm really starting to believe that to change to another Course Building Software wouldn't be a bad idea. Please help me.Thank you,Pablo.PS: I have a Lectora 2003 PRO SP4.

Pablo,Which random question issue did you have? I would look at all the titlemgr.html files, there is a parm to the applet at the bottom of the file which is "maxNumberTests" ... sounds like your browser is not loading the proper titlemgr.html file ... or, you are going directly to a page in the one of the pretests instead of loading the frameset for the pretest.Tim

Pablo,I never received the course code with random test pool. And yes, everything should be loaded properly in the sub-folders IF you are linking to the index.html file in each of the sub-folders. Any chance you can zip up that scenario also and either email it to me, of contact me offline and I'll give you an FTP site you can send the file to.Tim V

About the random issue I still have...is posted in: http://community.trivantis.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=1079&PN=1 And even though you ask me to sent you my code which I did, I never received any answer.REgarding to the maximum tests issue, I don't know why shouldn't be loading the correct titlemgr.html, as I said, every test is located in its own directory and each one is loaded by its proper index.html...shouldn't be like this?Pablo.

Pablo,How did you design this course? Are they two separate courses that you linked together and placed in the same folder? The maximum number of tests for the course is determined at publish time for the individual course ... and each course expects to be in it's own folder. Sounds like you have more than one course in the folder and that will not work becuase you are overwriting the titlemgr.html from one course with the other one.Tim V

Tim,I could finally solve the problem after publishing the title a lot of times. But the random issue in the tests stills giving me a headache, I will send you again the course code zipped with the random test pool in order for you to check it, right?Thank you!
