We’ve created trainings in Lectora Enterprise Edition V-2007 SP5 (5098). We publish to HTML and post to our website. The user completes and email submits results to us. We have 5 or so courses active. They were all performing fine when first posted, then last October we moved our server, our website crashed, we restored the site. Ever since, the trainings work fine except when the user completes, instead of the email to submit, they receive an error message that reads: “unable to find local host, cannot send results: null”
Here’s what we’ve been told so far, and have been assured it is the case: Make sure Server SMTP enabled, allowing connections from all IP addresses, Port 25 opened without any restrictions, open relay enabled on Port 25, no firewall blocking connection. On the course side, a valid email address in the submission field, port 25 must be opened on the machine, no firewall blocking the connection. We have tried all these and the problem persists. ANY suggestions / fixes appreciated!
is this also true? - You must use the Java title manager and not the JavaScript title manager because the script that submits the email uses Java.
