Error: Failed to Create Empty Document

Good Morning Everyone. I am getting this error when trying to open either Lectora X pro or Lectora Inspire on my Lenovo Laptop running Windows 7. I installed both Lectora Pro and Lectora Inspire and both ran fine after the install. I was working with a colleague about a week ago when the error started appearing. Advice from the support team was to check the Temp Directories and environmental variables and see if there are any errors with them. I checked those and all seems to be correct. Then I talked with my Tier one support person and he agreed all was well with the laptop as far as the temp directories and variables. Any help you could provide would be appreciated.
