Email With Program Other Than Microsoft Outlook from Lectora

Finally...something I can answer....I do what you want in a Windows 2000 server (IIS) environment using ASP and the Collaborative data object in IIS. I have an ASP script I can share with you however, SMTP services will need to be turned on the server hosting your application. A number of sysadmins erroneously feel that this creates a security hole (or open email relay) but it doesn't. They can restrict the smtp to send email only from the ip address of the server which prevents it from being an open relay.BTW, my asp application is email client and server independent.
