Email With Program Other Than Microsoft Outlook from Lectora

Well....not sure how this works with files published as exe's but on the web this is a browser configuration. The problem with the entire email approach is that people have to have email configured in their browser with a pointer to an smtp gateway for outbound email. Most people, unless they are using a pop client, don't know that and have not configured their browsers correctly anyway.The best solution is to create a simple cgi program to email the results. Windows server systems have the collaborative data object to handle that (2000 and 2003 Windows each handle it a little differently) If you are putting your html files on a windows server, talk to your server admin about enabling smtp services on the server and showing you how to setup the CDO.
