Lectora 2008 can be set up to automatically spell check a page in the editor, underlining mispelled words in red. Developers then have the ability to right-click on the word and add that word to the dictionary, so that in the future, that word is not marked as mispelled. However, there does not appear to be an easy way to remove a word from the dictionary. You can use Notepad to open up Program FilesTrivantisYOUR_EDITIONlexuserdic.tlx and muck around in there, but there is some additional code in there (an "i" followed by blocks) that might frighten off some people. It would be nice to have an "Edit Dictionary" function somewhere. In addition, it would be nice to be able to define where your dictionary is located so that you can store it with the files that you back up.
