downloadable audio files

I am trying to embed audio files within my project which can be downloaded by the user. I have added the MP3 file via the additional files in the project properties then set up a button with an action to Launch a program/document, and then I pointed it at the attached file. This works but it opens the file straight away in windows media rather than giving the user the option to save the file. I have also tried adding the audio as an object to the page. This plays the file perfectly well but when I right click and select save target as I get an error message which reads: "Internet Explorer cannot download from void(null) no such interface supported"Has anyone got any suggestions?
