Displaying Narration Text

Im using Lectora Enterprise Edition 2006 and am trying to set up a basic interface. One of the requirements is to allow the user to display the narrators script. I want to set this up as a global button that displays the text based on the page that the user is at. I don't know how to set up the variable based on the page counter - or, is that not even the right approach?
