Create Your Own User Guide?

I have been asked by my manager to create a user guide for Lectora. I am aware a user guide already exists and so do dozens of online tutorials but my manager would like me to create one for our internal use. I am the only one at my company that creates eLearnings so if I get hit by the proverbial bus there is no one to do what I do (write scripts, create videos, edit videos, create storyboards, record voiceovers, create the training...). It took me over a year to figure out Lectora and I'm still learning every single day. The person who would pick up where I left off has used Lectora a couple of times and I'm supposed to train her on what I know--or some of what I know but I don't know where to begin!

Has anyone else ever been asked to do this? Any advice would be appreciated.

There's an official Lectora synchronous training session coming up on August 3-6th and it costs US$400 (http://trivantis.com/synchronous-training). It'll probably save you a LOT of training time and mitigate a huge business risk for your manager. I would consider signing up your colleague and then taking it from there, with your own specifics and whatever she might have troubles with. Her training notes could even serve as the basis for your handbook.
