create a rollover effect in a menu

The effect I am trying to achieve is this:I have a top horizontal navigation in my course which is made up of buttons such as "home, resources, glossary, table of contents" etc... Each button consists of a button that looks like an icon with text. they change color and effect when you mouse over them. I want the "table of contents" menu to appear as if it is a button icon and text in the top horizontal navigation that, when you mouse over it, the button icon and text channge color and the menu appears. I know how to create this effect using either Flash or Javascript. I have even thought about publishing the files and adjusting the javascript or actionscript manually. I am hoping it does not come to this.I am new to Lectora---I am hoping that all you gurus will have some ideas.Thanks in advance...
