Copy text from a text block.

Ok, so I need more help. I published my test to an .exe file after having issues publishing in .html (my company is still using IE6). I have a text field at the end of the test that I want users to be able to copy and paste into another document. However, it will not allow you to highlight the text. The text in question is generated by using variables based on how the user answered certain questions. It does allow you to copy any of the static text fields though.
I know that I could accomplish this in theory by creating multiple static text fields and hiding all but the correct one, however, the way it's structured now includes quite a few variables. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.
