Copy Paste from MS Word 2003

Hi - I'm fairly new to using Lectora. I would like to know if there is a better way of copying text over from MS Word to Lectora.

When I paste info in a table format in Lectora, there's a space placed in front of the text which can't be deleted....drives me crazy!!!!

Is there a way to avoid this extra space from coming in? - Thanks
