Control of Lectoras Animated Characters

Hi, I am trying to control the animated characters provided by Lectora when they are playing in Lectora, play, pause, rewind, mute. Is this possible?I have tried using the commands available from Lectora to no avail, but I can't help but think there is a way to control the frames, variables or something within these, they are swf files. I have noticed though that a part of the characters depend on the html page they reside on to operate correctly, so maybe it is just not possible to control them. Any help or ideas would be appreciated, thanks.
