SCORM actually does that quite well. Question more or less is, does your LMS support the function?It can be adjusted in the course properties when publishing.Look for the option "The published course will prompt to restore the last viewed location within the LMS" and check it. The option is found when publishing under scorm on the first tab of the options screen.
