Connecting more than one module

I am currently attempting to connect one module to another. At the end of the first one I placed a continue button, which was set to launch the second module. However, after publishing the file into a single file executable the published file refuses to launch. Does anyone have suggestions as to how to continue from one module to another? Thank you for your help!
