What is an "outside page"?Not clear what you mean by "no variable is set on the question" since all questions in Lectora must have a variable associated with them.Without the info re. those two points, here is my best guess at a solution. You can clear the answer variable. Open the properties for the question and the variable will be shown. Put an action where it is meaningful, say when the question page opens, to set the variable to null. Be glad to entertain more questions here if you still need help.
