Hey Ludo!I went back and tried your suggestion and learned that I goofed on my end -- didn't describe the problem correctly.Using your suggestion, I put in "" as the initial value for Variable_N. I then set up the "On Select/Change" action to "Change Contents of Entry_Field_1 to Variable_N", it "worked." However, not the way I wanted.Apparently, the "On Select/Change" action on Entry Forms only acts in an "On Change" manner. If I manually delete the default text, the field will revert to Variable_N -- in this case, "". I was hoping to get the "On Select" functionality to work. And unfortunately, as soon as you select an Entry Field in Lectora, the Actions button becomes deactivated so you can't hang a separate action off of the entry field.Back to the drawing board.
