Cheating the test

Well, you don't need to be a super-hacker to open the bin file in Notepad ...The name of the file is quite obvious, its the name of the test.The trainee at our clients side isn't a super-hacker neither, but he did get past this with little effort.You are right though that thee will always be a way around.We were very happy to be able to avoid the TitleManager Applet. So as a 'solution', going back there, we were not happy anyway.An encryption of the XML files, thus using the JS TitleManager wouldn't be that hard to implement as far as I can see. Even if an advanced hacker could decrypt it, it would at least be less obvious to someone just reading simple xml files ... So I'm not that happy about your choice to just ignore the problem.
