Chapter indicators: started and complete

Andy and Ben,Thanks for bearing with me on this. As best as my tiny brain can figure, some of what Andy says already seems to be in place. Ben, all of the info you sent me wasn't clear to me. Please remember you guys are extremely facile with Lectora, and this is my first foray into it. Please do not assume that I know ANYTHING. I have been working on this since Monday trying every possible permutation of commands based on what I was able to ken from your explanations alas, to no avail. Ben, since you have a bit of my code, can you please set up one button so it works according to plan and send it to me, then by example, I can complete the rest--or if it is easier, just type it out as in Andy's previous message shows. Sorry for being such a dunderhead, but to paraphrase Dr. McCoy from the original Startrek, "Dammit Jim! I'm a doctor! (instructional designer) Not a programmer!" Or if there is an easier way to do the same thing, I'll enterain that.I've cycled through all the variables using none, one, two, and three. I've moved icons aaround in the tree, I've repositioned graphics, and I've banged my head on the desk. Nothing works. Meanwhile I'll continue my gnashing of teeth with angst.Kindest Regards...
