Changing pasted hyperlinks to "open in new window"

It's not really a Lectora issue, but rather a Word issue. MS Word embeds hidden formatting within the body of the text that does not play well with other applications. If you must copy/paste from Word you can try this. Place your cursor at the beginning of the link, hold the key down on the keyoard and use the right arrow key to select only the text of the hyperlink. When you paste the text into Lectora, select the text, right click and select hyperlink and set the properties, be sure to chose the open in new window option.

Good Luck,

Shawn

I've been pasting text from Word that already has hyperlinks in into a text box in Lectora. These paste over fine and work when published. However, I need them to open in a new window. In edit mode, the tool doesn't recognise that the text is a hyperlink, and I can't therefore change it to open in a new window. Is there any way around this?

Thanks.
