CenarioVR Introduces Samsung Gear VR and Oculus Go Support

The latest version of CenarioVR is here, and so is support for Oculus Go and Samsung Gear VR! Here’s a full list of updates we released:

  • Native Oculus Go App - A new app is available on the Oculus store for the Oculus Go, including native support for the Oculus controller, downloading of scenarios to the device, and reporting of analytics directly from VR.
  • Native Samsung Gear VR App - A new app is available on the Samsung store for the Gear VR, including native support for the Gear VR controller, downloading of scenarios to the device, and reporting of analytics directly from VR.
  • Live Score - Learners can view their score updated on screen live as it changes. Great for games!
  • New selection animation - When objects are selected in non "gaze to select" devices, the object uses a grow animation to show selection. Gaze to select devices such as Google Cardboard style devices use a new progress selection circle on the selection reticle.
  • Pan to Object in VR - The "Pan to Object" action now works in VR on all devices.
  • Copy and Paste for entire scenes - Scenes now have a right click menu allowing you to copy and paste the entire content of the scene including objects and timed actions.
  • Firefox and Firefox Reality WebVR support - The Firefox desktop app and Firefox Reality app available on most major headsets is supported for VR mode, allowing use of headsets like the Oculus Rift, Lenovo Daydream, and HTC Vive Focus.
  • Create a Copy - A new shortcut has been added to the dashboard cards allowing you to quickly create a copy of a scenario.
