Can you include a timer on the first page of a test page?

There is no way not to include the timer on the first page of your test. If you were to disinherit the timer off of your first page and test it in run or preview mode, it will give you your desired effect. If you publish your course to a single file executable (.exe) or CD it will also have this desired effect. However, once you publish to html, that timer will begin as soon as you enter your test, even if you aren't seeing the timer on the first page. This is because when using a timer and publishing to html, the title manager takes over and you have no control of the timer. My solution to you, if you're publishing to html, is to have your first test page outside of your actual test. You can create the page so that is mirrors your test exactly. The user will never know that "technically" they are outside of the test.
