Can external website be included in course?

I'd like to create a course that has 3 pages and a survey.
1. Welcome page
2. Hyperlink to an external website. After closing the window to the site, I'd like for them to be able to go to page 3. End of course information that leads to survey within the LMS.
I can accomplish welcome page, however I'm not sure if I can lead them to the external website and remain in the course.
Any ideas?

Sure you can. You can configure the hyperlink to open in a new window, so that the course remains open while the learners browse the external website.
Alternatively, you can insert a Web Window, which will display the external website in a window right in the course page. Great for showing Google Maps, product pricing tables, lengthy documents or any other external resources from the web.
Yes, I agree with Sergey. My advice is to use a Web Window. One important thing to remember in instructional design is that once your learners get away, there is no guarantee they'll come back! The most effective way to prevent wandering is to embed the other web page directly within your title.
