Camtasia .swfs won't start -- sometimes
December 8, 2008 12:00 AM
I have created a bunch of .swf files in Camtasia and imported them as animation objects. Each animation opens in a new window and I have set Auto Start in the Properties on each one. The problem is, sometimes an animation starts, and sometimes it doesn't. This is truly random -- sometimes an animation starts fine, other times the same animation won't, even when nothing has happened between attempts, i.e. I've republished. In the title there are about 25 animations. They don't all stop working at the same time -- some of them will start and some of them won't. If I click pause or stop, then click play again (using the controllers that are included in the .swf production) it will start. Should also say this happens on XP/IE, Mac/Safari, Mac/Firefox, so I don't think it's a browser issue.Had anyone else encountered this problem? Any solutions/workarounds?ThanksEdited By: lvholmes on 2008-12-8 9:43:30
