Button Actiond don't work when published to AICC or HTML

We suspect this might be an issue in Lectora and Internet Explorer's compatibility mode, but the only way to know for sure is to look at your titles and published content.

I to have re-published a course and buttons aren't working after upgrading to 12 and installing the patch. Help on this would be appreciated.

I posted the original issue and after two days and much communication back and forth the support (thanks Fred you are a saint) we have determined that the issue was within my LMS (we are using SumTotal but have not updated in over 2 years due to technical issues with updates and have been in the process of switching to the SumTotal Cloud hosted by them). We are also publishing in AICC format and creating the zip file because that is what SumTotal requires.

But working with Lectora Support I did these things to determine it was my LMS (because the 10 million things I tried didn't work):

1) I opened a few other courses with Lectora 12.0.1 that I had recently updated with Lectora 11.3.2 (so I knew they were working last week) and republished and uploaded to our Test LMS and the buttons didn't work.

2) I built a brand new 4 page course in Lectora 12.0.1 with buttons and published and uploaded to our Test LMS and the buttons didn't work.

3) I uploaded both of the published files (from 1 & 2) to the SCORM cloud to test and the buttons worked!

4) I uploaded both of the published files (from 1 & 2) to our test LMS SumTotal Cloud environment (that has all the SumTotal updates installed) and buttons worked!

So I told support I would post an update to this thread.

I installed this patch and it resolved my button issues. Also using the latest version of our LMS in the Cloud instead of using a version 2 years old. But I have not heard if other Kansas users were able to get their buttons to work after installing the patch. There were a few other state agencies also having trouble with their buttons.

yup cant get buttons to work on our LMS since upgrading to 12 either (an oracle based LMS) tried publishing on 1.2 and 2004 no dice. have raised a ticket with our LMS people
