Bookmarking video

Hi Everyone, i have a question that refers to video being placed in a lectora SCORM course. Basically i need the learner to be able to run the course from an LMS for the first time and the video starts at the beginning. if the learner closes or exits the course the time in the video is saved to a variable.
The next time the learner opens the course the variable is checked and the video starts playing at that certain point in time.
Does anyone have any knowledge of how to do this?

Only through external JavaScript I'm afraid. The good news is that Lectora uses JWplayer for video, which is a well known and easy-to-work-with player, so it shouldn't be an insurmountable dev task.

are there any news on this? Does TinCan somehow "remedy" this shortcoming? I would also love to use some bookmarking functionality with video, but I am NOT a Javascript expert. Any advise?
