That could very well be the problem. You really need to use the course exit button in order for the SumTotal API to be able to capture all the data from the course and report it back to the LMS. I would stress to your users that they should use the course exit button and not the browser exit button as if they use the browser exit button some of their data may not get tracked properly by the LMS.
