Blank screen while iSpring file loads
June 23, 2009 12:00 AM
I have created a Flash (swf) presentation using Powerpoint and iSpring. When I move to the page in my course with the swf presentation, it takes a few seconds before the file appears on the page. Between the images and embedded video clips in the presentation, I'm assuming it takes a couple seconds for the swf presentation file to load. By the way, I am publishing to HTML and have checked the preload box in the Properties window.
I created a simple swf preload animation (used Photoshop for this) to play while the swf presentation file loads. How can I control the duration of the swf preloader file? I'd like to stop the animation when the presentation completes loading or stop it after a specified amount of time. Any suggestions?

Hi there!
I work with iSpring and I'm pleased to inform you that this issue was completely resolved a couple of versions ago. (Sorry we didn't catch your post here sooner — I hope you also contacted us directly!) There's now a built-in preloader with a couple of design options.
Please let me know if there's anything else we can do for you.
Best Regards,
Brian Tarr
