Blank row at table end

Heys gurus,

For the life of me, I can't figure this one out.

I have a table created with two rows and 3 columns. However, for some reason, it has added in its own little row at the end. Similar to what I'd expect with the "new paragraph" mark within Word, except this is within the table itself.

Why is this a problem for me? It's taking up real estate on the page!

I've got a screenshot here, and you can see the boundaries of my table as white lines. The arrows are pointing to the extra space.
