This is possible with PowerPoint itself - simply make the word overlap with an invisible button that, when clicked, brings another text box into the slide. If you are working with Snap! Empower, this can be very easily done with any button. Have the effect described above be linked to a text button and be set to toggle show/hide to another text box that defaults as hidden.
