Audio - User Select On/Off

Looking back on this discussion, I forget what exactly was being asked... LOL.It looks like it's a simple question of how to control audio auto-playing depending on a variable, right? I currently use a Screen-Reader "Sniffer" that detects if a user is utilizing assistive technology. If they are, it sets a lectora variable "AssistiveTechnology" to "Yes" Using that variable, I can have it so audio/voice overs on the pages either play immediately or wait for the user to hit a play button.The problem with my original response is that sometimes Lectora jumps past actions in the first 10 or so frames in a SWF, so it's possible that the SWF could have played regardless of a stop command.I just totally confused myself.
