Audio not synched with character animation

I'm having 2 different problems with the new character animations when published to SCORM and uploaded to our LMS.
1. For the animated character audio explanation, I'm finding that the audio is not synched with the text on the page when played through the LMS (I have the text timed to appear with corresponding cues in the audio). I noticed a couple of things that I thought may be causing this. First, the animation accepts mp3 files, which aren't compressed to flv files in the zipped SCORM package as they would be if simply inserted into the page and played directly. This means that the file sizes are larger than they would be as a flv file. Would this cause a delay in the animation if I animated the text on the page directly with the audio file? Also, it takes a few moments for the animations to load on the page when published to the LMS. Since the audio file is associated with the animation, the delay in loading the animation would cause the animation-based audio to not be synched with the text. Since there is no way for me to know how much of a delay there will be when loading the character animation on each page, I cannot build that into the time I enter for text to appear. Can anyone speak to this issue?
2. I notice that when using the character animation bullets synch with audio and publish to SCORM and upload to the LMS, at times the character will not appear at all and the bulleted items will appear squished and left justified where the character is suppoed to be. Has anyone experienced this situation at all?
I'd really like for the character animations to work properly, since I'm using the character as a central figure throughout the presentation, but I'm experiencing delays in audio and animations that don't always work as they should when published to our LMS.
Thanks for any feedback you can provide.
