Audio editor does not save
February 19, 2013 12:00 AM
I am currently evaluating Lectora Inspire V11 and am having success.
One thing however is causing me problems. I am able to edit audio initially and add event triggers but any attempt to edit and add new triggers at a later date fails -- the process of opening and editing appears to go OK but after saving the edits have been lost.
I am not sure if this is just event trigger adding or if other audio edits would react the same way.
Am I just missing something in the operation of the editor or is this a bug?
Edit: it seems if you make an actual edit to the audio it does save -- just adding triggers though does not work.

I think I am OK for now -- as I indicated I have found a work around.
Doing any edit to the sound itself will cause the new triggers to be saved at the same time.
First, we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused our users. This is a known issue that was discovered by our developers and has already been corrected. The issue is with the AudioEditor.exe file as you can add events the first time you edit an audio file but once you save and close out, it will not allow any additional events to be saved to that file. We have a fix for those who experience this issue and need to have it corrected before we release our first service pack down the road. To obtain the fix, send an email to support@trivantis.com, place Attn:Ed in the subject line and I will get the fix out to you.
