Assessment Scoring

I guess you are talking about software simulation. If that is not the case, please explain. If so, you are using fill in the blank questions where the user enters values you have placed on a screen. Correct? If not, what are you using? What do you mean "generate raw scores"? Every question in Lectora can be assigned a point value. If all these questions are in a test as you say, and they are all Lectora questions, then Lectora will automatically combine the fill in the blank questions with the others. Are you talking about something like questions in Flash or some other tool? You said no earlier, but I am still guessing. If you want one score for group #1 and one for #2 and one score for all combined, then simply put each group questions in its own section within the test. Lectora will then give you a score for each section as well as a combined score for the entire test. You can see the scores if you go to Tools menu > Manage variables. The question scores are the names of the test and test sections followed by the word SCORE.You said, "My question comes about because I am using a combination of the Lectora questions and self created questions (to score simulations) and I cant combine my "raw" scores with Lectora's "percentage" score." I do not understand the difference between Lectora questions and self created questions. YOU had to write all the question content. How are you creating these "self created" questions? What are you clicking on the Lectora toolbars to create them? Edited By: bpitman on 2006-8-31 21:20:43
