Application perormance speed issue

I've seen this problem before but can only vaguely remember the solution. Can someone help?When working with a page in Lectora, you can click an element, a text box for example, and wait as long as 15 seconds for it to become active and allow you to type in it. This is very painful! It seems to me the issue was related to the virtual memory setting on my pc ... or a screen graphic setting??? Can anyone help?

This is due to hardware acceleration issues. Under windows 2000, you can access this setting under the Control Panel > Display Settings, under the settings tab > click the Advanced button. Click the Troubleshooting tab and set your hardware acceleration to None. If you were set to Full.... you were probably having Lectora performance speed issues.
