Another ~~~null~~~ problem - Sorry!

Hello,Ok I hope I get everything down, here it goes:- I too have been having a problem with variables in Lectora. I am using an action on (On:Show) show for all pages to (Action:Change Contents) change the contents of a (Target:page)text block to (New Contents:PageInChapter) PageInChapter. The problem is that this works fine locally (both using preview in browser and after publishing to a local folder and running from there). When the published html is uploaded to the server, again, on my computer it works fine both in IE and FireFox. However on some computers (both IE and Firefox) - intermittently - the value renders as ~~~null~~~. The funny thing is two machines we have tested on the error happens almost all the time (about 95% of the time). On two machines, this only seems to happen on page two of each chapter and here and there after that (error occurs only about 5% of the time). On my machine the Learning module work perfectly (I cannot replicate the problem on my machine). All five test machines are almost identical. On the machines that fail, I have checked the browsers and javascript is enabled. And when the error occurs “sometimes” refreshing the page fixes this problem. When looking at the source the variable seems to be set correctly via the lines:VarPageInChapter = new Variable( 'VarPageInChapter', null, 0, 0, null, null, 'topic1' )VarPageInChapter.set( '16' )When I have seen the problem on another machine running firefox with web developer extension an error that shows in the javascript console (in which I “believe” causes this problem) is as follows: Unexpected end of file while searching for closing } of invalid rule set.I have read posts and 1) Yes I do check the ‘Include Title Manager Frame’. I have Lectora Enterprise Edition V. 2006 SP4 (4133) – Registered! Please offer your suggestions.Thank you,Edited By: Fitzy on 2006-9-27 21:18:43
