Animated Characters
January 21, 2010 12:00 AM
Hello, I have been using the animated characters to add a little of visual flair to a very boring legal course. I have found that I am unable to send these animated characters to the back layer, so if I wanted to add a title to the bulleted list, I cannot do this on top of the animated "designated" box. I have sent the animation to the back layer. I have made the title as "always on top" .... Also, I would like to add photos to the bottom of the bulleted list and this also isn't working correctly. I am not a FLASH expert (duh!) and was hoping there was a quick fix! Also, this overlapping issue only happens when I publish it to Coursemill (oops I forgot to mention that). It looks and works fine in Lectora. HELP!!! Please.... Also, is there a future of having a more "diverse" group of animated characters. It would be nice to have the ability to change / update skin color and clothing. Thanks!! :)
Update:
Well - after searching the word animations... I found the answer: Thank you Mark Hemingway!!
If you right click on the animation in Lectora you can go to properties and then click on the parameters tab.
For the parameter put in: wmode
For the value put: transparent
