AICC_Lesson_Status

I'm using Version 9.I have an assessment with the action set to Modify Variable on Done Playing. The target is AICC_Lesson Status. The value is set to completed and the modification type is Set Variable contents. The assessment is in flash format. Is there any reason why the assessment won't end? If I need to provide more information please let me know.
