This works fine as long as you have just one course. The problem comes when you use this technique in more than one course and use the same variable name for saving the URL.When the second course starts it could possibly pick up the value from the first course if you publish using short page names. I publish all my courses with short page names just so I CAN share the variable values between courses. I think AICC/SCORM publish does this automatically. The only way around this I can think of is to use a different variable name with each course. Not too bad if you have just a few courses. But then, if you have 3500 like someone who just posted, then it could be a bit more difficult to ensure that they were unique.
