AICC Bookmarking & Heartbeat

I am using Lectora Enterprise 2006 SP5 with Peoplesoft ELM v9. IE6 is our standard browser. Bookmarking is working correctly as ong as the learner does 1 of 3 things:1) Clicks the EXIT button within the Lectora course.2) Clicks the 'x' on the IE Browser to close the course.3) Select File/Close from the browser menus bar.So, in effect, bookmarking appears to work only when the learner logs out of the course. But if a learner were to lose connectivity while in the course prior to attempting 1 of the 3 closure methods above, bookmarking does not take place. In effect, the learner would be positioned back at page 1, module 1 of the course on re-launch.Is there a way (via AICC, not SCORM) to ensure bookmarking is captured (in the background) without relying on the learner to close out of the course.I have attempted to edit HEARTBEAT time in the trivantis-title.mgr-aicc.js file to:this.HBTIME=60000in order to take the defaut of 5 minutes (300000)down to 1 minute. But I see no chnge in functionality. If I choose to manually disconnect my internet connection after a few pages to test this, I see no bookmarking taking place.Any thoughts or suggestions would be helpful. I am at an impass. As many of our eL courses are lengthy (10+ modules), learners would be disallusioned if they had to return to module 1, page 1 of a course.
